Making Your Way

Ali and Damon talk about life with a brain injury and making your way to a new life. Damon’s took him to the 365 Pro Wrestling family and he is grateful it did!

About Our Guest:

Damon Roth (aka Ramone Carlton) is a passionate figure in the world of professional wrestling, serving as the manager of Lak Siddartha in 365 Pro Wrestling, Becky Beech in Big West Wrestling, and an official for both promotions. A former ring announcer—now stepping in only when needed—he is also a wrestler in training with PWA.

Damon has been part of 365 Pro Wrestling since the summer of 2021 and joined Big West in 2023. Beyond the ring, he is a dedicated community support worker with a diverse career background.

He holds a Bachelor of General Studies (Arts) from Brandon University and relocated to Vancouver Island in 2014.

In 2019, Damon sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) due to a workplace accident, resulting in lifelong migraines. He receives Botox treatments every three months to manage his condition but remains deeply committed to his work in wrestling and the community.

He is married to Nicole, with three children from previous marriages—Jessica, Brittany, and Lucas—and is a proud grandfather to Beckett.

About the Podcast

Find Your Joy
Alison Perry-Davies’s belief is that wherever we come from, we have all known some level of pain, loss and trauma, these things do not need to define us. She doesn’t ignore that these things have happened; however, she decided this is not the way her story ends. Using integrated creative therapies along with sound and vibrational therapies she continues to explore and share complimentary healing modalities.

In this podcast she shares her story as well as having many other people sharing their stories about ways that they have found their healing and their way to find joy. Some of the guests will include authors, artists, painters, singers, songwriters, musicians, doctors, healers of different modalities, people who love to organize people who love to build things, people who find ways of raising dogs and kids and, you know, it really doesn't matter exactly what it is. It's all about finding our joy, and finding a way to make life work.
